About the company

The Grapoila brand was founded 15 years ago in 2009 by Marianna Pinczés, who has been the owner and CEO ever since. In 2023, she was awarded Young Entrepreneur of the Year. The company’s main profile is the production of cold-pressed oils, and the brand now offers more than 20 types of premium oils.

From the very beginning, we have placed great emphasis on environmental protection. We were among the first in Hungary to implement zero waste food production. We often process valuable waste from other industries that would otherwise be discarded (upcycling), and we also utilize all by-products of oil production (zero waste). Our technology has received numerous domestic and international innovation awards in recent years.

At the same time, our goal is to produce healthy and delicious food from natural ingredients, without synthetic additives. In addition to food, we also produce natural cosmetics, as our basic products, cold-pressed oils, have extremely positive effects when applied externally. Some of them are among the most sought-after cosmetic oils in the world.

For a few years now, we have also had our own laboratory, development team, and demonstration kitchen, which allows us to offer research and development services.

In 2020, the company headquarters moved to a new, own building in the 22nd district of Budapest. In addition, work is ongoing at three other locations: our oil pressing plant and central warehouse are located in Püspökladány, our seed preparation and natural cosmetics plant is located in Szerencs, and most recently, we have a pilot program in Vértesboglár.

Around the office building in Budapest, we have created a permaculture garden that also serves CSR purposes. The organic produce from the garden can be consumed and taken home by our employees. The garden also supports Grapoila’s brand communication, and we often hold events and open days.

Thanks to the innovative approach of the group, the company is developing very quickly on several pillars, and the number of employees is also constantly increasing.
