At the 2022 Great Taste Awards, the jury blind-tested over 14,000 products from 110 countries, rendering their judgment without any influence from information, marketing tools, brand names, or packaging—ensuring an authentic, unbiased, and indisputable evaluation. We are proud that Grapoila products have held their ground in the competition for the fifth year in a row, with an increasing number of oils and flours adorned with the coveted star stickers.
This year, we entered three of our oils into the competition. The diversity of our cold-pressed oil offerings has been commendable, with oils pressed from 20 different seeds. However, this year, we upped the ante by introducing two brand-new products alongside our long-standing Salad Oil. To our delight, all three products excelled, proving that we make no compromises when it comes to quality and taste. For the past 13 years, since our founding, we have been working to bring the finest cold-pressed oils to consumers’ tables and dishes, with the key being controlled ingredients, perfected pressing techniques, gentle processes, and 100% natural, additive-free components. GRAPOILA SALAD OIL MIX
We created this oil blend with the collaboration of a dietitian and a chef. Our goal was to provide consumers with a salad oil that enhances the enjoyment of salads with its taste while also boosting them with valuable nutrients. What can an oil dressing add to vegetables and fruits that are already healthy and nutritious on their own? The Grapoila Salad Oil was composed to enrich salads, cold dishes, and meals with a significant amount—and optimal ratio—of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, vitamin E, and other antioxidant nutrients. Our Salad Oil is also available in a bio version. Would you like to taste it?

GRAPOILA EASTERN OIL MIX
Our esteemed partner, the salad-specialized Eisberg, approached us with a request to develop an oil blend that would complement the flavors of the “Chickpea Salad Bowl.” The harmony of flavors we envisioned for the Eastern Oil Mix turned out so well that after presenting it to salad enthusiasts, the Great Taste jury was also treated to it. The oil mix impressed them so much that they immediately awarded it two stars and dubbed the sesame and corn oil golden blend “divine.” They mentioned that they would gladly use it in their own kitchens. Could there be a greater recognition for a cold-pressed oil mix? 😉
The uniqueness of this oil blend is that it can be used not only for flavoring salads but is also excellent for baking due to the “heat-resistant” nature of its components. This makes it perfect for adding a special taste to Eastern cuisine dishes and stir-fried delights. The Great Taste award-winning Grapoila Eastern Oil Mix is now available as a standalone product!

GRAPOILA ROASTED PUMPKIN SEED OIL
For the gourmets, we are now pressing one of our most popular oils, pumpkin seed oil, from roasted seeds! The production process remains cold pressing, but the seeds are gently roasted beforehand. While this heat treatment causes some loss of heat-sensitive vitamins and nutrients, it enhances the culinary pleasures. The oil pressed from roasted seeds offers a unique taste experience, as roasting elevates, deepens, and intensifies the flavor of pumpkin seed oil. According to the jury, “the oil’s wonderful aroma immediately invites tasting, and the nutty-hazelnut pumpkin seed flavor blends beautifully with the toasted aroma, yet it is not overly intense.” Initially available only in the Anglo-Saxon market, the award-winning oil is now also available in our webshop! Of course, you can still find Grapoila’s classic, health-promoting, cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil made from untoasted seeds.
