Open Day at Grapoila – with Seedling Fair

2024.04.29

This spring, we are preparing for a larger, more exciting, and more diverse event than ever before, with plenty of presentations, workshops, seedlings, tastings of the delicacies from The Chef & the Gardener, unmissable garden tours, product fairs, and insights that will make you see ingredients and foods in a new light.

What programs do we have in store?

We have prepared various permaculture presentations so that everyone can find something suitable according to their interests and prior knowledge.

If you didn’t ferment with us last year, you can do it this year! We’ll show you, and you can even try for yourself, how to preserve the treasures of the garden without chemicals. But we’re not stopping there; we have prepared various workshops where we’ll teach you how to handle seed creams, how to make simple and great porridges and healthy snacks to enjoy with the kids.

Our permaculture project leader, Ági, will guide visitors through the garden again this year, while introducing them to the mysteries of permaculture.

For the little ones, there’s a straw bale playground and a children’s corner, with various board games, colouring books, and a mysterious black tent that we can’t reveal too much about yet, because the kids would start lining up in front of it right away…

This year, we have also invited partners for whom sustainability is equally as important. Get to know them, taste their products, and take their delicacies home. Joining us are PRӒS, Gódor Apiary, Secontaste, and Fairy Ferment.

Our programs remain free of charge, but registration is required for garden tours, presentations, and workshops! You can register for the programs that interest you and pre-order our chemical-free seedlings from mid-April.

To ensure you don’t miss out on the registration, subscribe to our newsletter! The registration and detailed programs will soon be available on our webshop and on the Grapoila Facebook page.

Opening hours: May 3rd, Friday 10:00-17:00; May 4th, Saturday 10:00-16:00 Address: 1224 Budapest, Szakiskola Street 33-43. (2 minutes from the M0 Nagytétény exit)

We look forward to welcoming you!
