Poppy seed

Poppy seed is rich in minerals (e.g. calcium, phosphorus, iron), vitamins B and E. Most of its fat content is made up of unsaturated fatty acids. It helps prevent osteoporosis, allows tooth formation, digestion, has a good effect on the cardiovascular system, has a stress-relieving effect.

Ripe poppy seeds can be consumed safely, opium derivatives based on the peel of the crop (poppy cocoon). It can be used for making sweets, cakes (poppy seed dough, poppy seed strudel, poppy seed cake, etc.), mixed into the dough of sweet or savory pastries, or sprinkled on top.
