Cold-pressed oils

Cold pressing technology is used to extract the valuable oil content of the seeds in a completely mechanical process, which does not change the chemical composition, taste or smell of the raw materials.

Thanks to their favourable fatty acid composition, cold-pressed oils are also known as healthy fats. Many of them are extremely rich in vitamin E and other antioxidant phytonutrients, and as a result they have different positive physiological effects.

Their uses are versatile, but vary from one variety to another. Almost all of them are excellent salad oils, great for flavourings and decorations of meals and cold dishes. It is a misconception that cold-pressed oils cannot be used for frying! Some have a very high smoke point and can be used to cook at medium to high temperatures. Recommended usages of each oil are indicated by pictograms.

Grapoila oils have been honoured in the recent years by many international food awards (Great Taste, ITA etc). The round Great Taste stickers with 1-3 stars are a sign of excellent taste and quality of the products, as judged by the strict jury of the well-known international food tasting competition.

Many of the oils feature extremly high vitamin-E content, as well as prescious skin-care ingredients and they are highly sought cosmetic oils.
